Semarang, at the north coast of Central Java province, is a very humid city and as a consequence I sweat a lot, it will take some time to adjust I guess.
The first three pictures are taken in the vicinity of the gallery. The last photo is taken at Simpang Lima, Semarang’s new center. The old center is at the coast and still shows many architectural inheritances from Dutch colonial times. At the new center malls and hotels are grouped together. And on the streets of Simpang Lima (i.e. an intersection of five streets) lots of good food can be eaten, especially in the weekends, I have been told, this is a popular spot to hang out.
